LUTHERANS BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
In the Holy Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Humans were created holy, but sinned. All people are sinners and cannot by their own power come back to God.
Jesus Christ, true God and true man, became one of us and died for the sin of all people.
All who repent and receive by faith Jesus as their personal Savior have forgiveness and eternal life.
A person is saved because of God's undeserved love (grace) through faith in Jesus.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper are means whereby God offers grace to individuals.
In response to what God has done in Christ, Christians seek to love and serve God and fellow human beings.
