Come Grow with Us!

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”   Romans 10: 114-15

Opportunities:

Sunday School Teachers:
Volunteers are needed to teach Sunday School this summer.  Classes will be divided into 2 groups: Prek -2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade.  A sign-up sheet is on the table in the narthex. Materials will be available in a file box in the office mail room. Sign up for a Sunday or two and teach our children about God's love and faithfulness.

The Board of Parish Life Needs You!

The Parish Life Committee plans, promotes, and coordinates activities that foster spiritual growth in the congregation through a variety of non-day school educational activities and opportunities, and in promoting missions, evangelism, and outreach.

Member-At-Large Committee Opportunities.

Member-At-Large positions are volunteers who are recruited as needed and serve for the duration of the current project(s) for which they were recruited. Please consider volunteering your time and talents to assist us to serve our congregation.

·        Thrivent Advisor (formerly Rita H)

o   This volunteer will assist the Board in applying Thrivent funding to our various projects.

·        New Member Welcome Packet

o   This project will need multiple volunteers to imagine and create a packet of information that will help our new members transition into our congregational family.

·        Pictoral Church Directory

o   This project will need multiple volunteers to plan, design, and execute an updated Congregation Directory.

o   We are also hoping to find a photographer within our congregation to assist us in creating our digital directory.

·        Sunday School Coordinator (currently Dorothy S)

o   This volunteer assists in organizing the children’s Sunday School program. Main duties include monitoring the teaching schedule, ensuring teachers have the

appropriate materials, and reporting needs and issues to the Board of Parish Life.

For more information, please contact Tina G, Pastor Meyer, or any Parish Life member.

The Board of Parish Life meets at 6:00pm on the Second Tuesday of each month (typically for one hour). All are welcome to attend.
